Mommies and their daughters.

There is such a special bond that mommies have with their daughters. It’s delicate and palpable. Your little girl’s heartbeat is a direct connection to your own. When they are sad, it tugs on your compassion. When they are angry, it lights a fire in you. When they are joyful…well, that’s when you remember how to be youthful and free. Child-like joy spreads like wildfire. When we see it on our little girls’ faces, it bubbles up from a place we grown-ups like to call “when we were young”. This dynamic is such an excellent relationship to get to capture on camera.

We shot these beautiful pictures at Olde Rope Mill Park in Woodstock, GA, and the weather was fantastic! Sweet Harper was not about to waste a second of the day! It was time to play!! This little one is full of life, joy, and beautiful mischief! Her yellow flower had to be a feature in many of her photos, even after it had wilted, and she was very patient in teaching her mama how to spin like a ballerina. Andrea’s even-temper and tender attention was all the reassurance Harper needed to feel free to be herself! They laughed, they played, she kissed booboos, and even washed the mud from her feet in the river. You can see the extraordinary and beautiful bond they have in every picture! Enjoy these photos from our session! And let me know if you would like to plan one of these with me!
